The engine is a 4 cylinder, horizontally opposed; air cooled, naturally aspirated Jabiru 2200cc, fitted with an altitude compensating carburettor. The engine is rated by the manufacturer at 85 HP, 3300 RPM. It can cruise above 100kts with over 10hrs of endurance.
Our Jabiru 160, registration 9M-EBR, was purchased in late 2006, with its first test flight in 2007. It was issued its Permit to Fly in mid 2007.

SkyRanger
The SkyRanger is the official FAI world champion two-seat 3-axis aeroplane for 1996-2000, 2003-2006. This proves its excellent flight performance and handling. The Skyranger features a fast build kit with a level of completeness unbeaten in the industry. New additions for Swift kits are Aerofoil section jury struts as standard, reinforced windscreen, fuselage side batten curving brace, new door catches, pre cut, bent and powdercoated firewall, and a host of other small upgrade items down to details such as coloured rivets to match cowling and tinted screens.
